Dear Prayer Partners,

Since I last wrote the Lord has continued to open doors for us among the professionals of Maracay.  Mike and I are very thankful for your prayers for this underevangelized population segment.  We are seeing the results!

Last night Mike and I met with a young professional couple.  They are both attorneys.  His name is Amilcar and hers is Sandy.  They are both evangelicals, but she is more involved in the church than he is.  However, he was very interested in our ministry and wants to help us by introducing us to his friends.  We are very excited about this open door to the legal community.  On our website we have posted a picture of the Headquarters of the Bar Association of Aragua.

Pray that Mike, as a former attorney, would be invited to talk to the members of this very influential group.  Pray that Amilcar would follow through with his promise to introduce Mike to the President of the Bar Association.

We have now finished our three seminars and next week we start our small groups.  As of now we are planning on two groups.  One will meet on Tuesday afternoons in the apartment of our landlady, Maria.  The other group will meet on Wednesday nights in the home of Betty.  She was one of our faithful seminar attendees.  Betty is a psychologist and works with one of our team members, Winelia

Pray that the people who signed up to attend would come.  At our last seminar we had 10 people.  Pray that all ten would attend either on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Continue to pray for the folks in our building.  None of them attended the seminars.  However, we continue to build relationships with them and are praying that one day we can start a small group in our apartment for our neighbors.

We praise the Lord for the open doors he is giving us.

Pray that Mike and I would have the wisdom to walk through these doors as they are opened for us.

Always, JAN
