12/07/07 May 15, 2006 Dear Prayer Partners, Well, the time has come. Monday, the 15th, Mike and I will be returning to Venezuela. We leave with conflicting feelings. On the one hand we are sad to leave friends, family, and I have to admit, the comforts of living in the US. On the other hand, we are excited about seeing the Lord work among the professionals of Maracay. We are also looking forward to seeing our Mission family and our Venezuelan friends. These last seven months have flown by for us. We have enjoyed meeting many new friends as we have spoken in a number of churches. It has also been great seeing many familiar faces as we have traveled around the US. As we go back to Venezuela we have three big prayer requests. The first is the renewal of our visas. We will be submitting our paperwork as soon as we are able. Please pray that the Lord would speed our visas through the renewal process and we will have the new ones in hand very soon. The second request deals with finding an apartment in Maracay. We have contacted several realtors in the city but so far they do not have anything that meets our specifications. Pray that the Lord would lead us to just the right one. The third request is that the Lord would open the hearts of the unbelievers in Maracay who are professionals so that they would receive the gospel and that He would also open the hearts of the believers who are professionals so that they would have a vision to help us in our ministry. If you would like to contact us you may simply reply to this email. Another address that will work while we are in the process of getting set up in Maracay is: hmbjeb@bigfoot.com. This address is always good for us. Thank you for your continuing prayers on our behalf and on behalf of the professionals of Venezuela. We will keep you updated. Always, JAN
