Dear Prayer Partners,

We are in such a wonderful season of the year.  Although we don't experience Spring like you do in the States, we are experiencing the start of the rainy season. This is when the rains bring  much needed relief to a dry and dusty land.  It reminds me of Isaiah 55:9-11.  This is what Mike and I pray will happen in Venezuela as we spread the word among the professionals.

This Easter season please pray for these very  needy people. Materially they are well off, but spiritually they lack so much.  Unfortunately, they are blind to this need.  This week most professionals are on vacation at the beach or in the mountains.  They have no interest in the things of God.  Thus, we need to redouble our efforts to get the Word to them so they will recognize their tremendous need to know God in the personal way.

We have started another new group in our apartment on Wednesdays.  These are folks who attended our last conference on "The Three Keys to Success."  Four people came out of the 14 who had come to the follow-up seminars.  Pray that more will come next week as we continue sharing with them the characteristics of a successful leader using character studies from the Bible.

Continue praying for our on-going groups, the Tuesday afternoon Ladies group and the Thursday evening group at Osphyl's apartment.  There is already a picture of the Tuesday group on our website and we plan to post a picture of the Thursday group very soon.

At the end of this month, Mike and I will be traveling to the city of Marturin (MAR-tureen) which is in the eastern part of Venezuela.  There we will be teaching two groups of believers how to reach professional people with the gospel.  Pray for these sessions.  Pray that there will be alot of interest and good attendance.  Praise the Lord that the churches here are realizing their need to reach out to the upper class with the gospel message.

        Have a blessed Easter.

        Always, JAN
